A bomb threat was issued on a train from Mumbai to Howrah. After that the investigative agency entered alert mode. A search operation was carried out on the Mumbai-Howrah mail train. The bomb threat was conveyed on social media platform X. In the social media post, there was a threat of an explosion in Nashik via a time bomb. In this post of X, harsh words were used against Maharashtra Police. Following the bomb blast incident, the Mumbai-Howrah Mail was stopped and searched in Jalgaon at 4 am on Monday. After intensive inspection for about two hours, security officers did not find anything suspicious. In such a situation, the threat of finding a bomb turns out to be just a rumor. For your information, the threat of a train explosion was made through an account called Fazaluddin. The threat read, “Will you weep blood this morning, O Hindustan Railway? Today a bomb has been planted on the flight and also on train 12809. There will be a big explosion before it reaches Nashik.”
Threats to blow up Air India flights were also received
Several bomb threats disrupted air and rail travel on Monday, forcing route changes and increased security measures. Air India flights to New York, IndiGo flights to Jeddah and Muscat, and Mumbai-Howrah Mail trains were all affected by the bomb threat, prompting an emergency response. After Air India, two IndiGo flights received bomb threats. This flight’s security checks begin immediately. The first flight departs from Mumbai to Jeddah with number 6E56. He was threatened with a bomb. At the same time, a second threat was issued to flight number 6E1275 from Mumbai to Muscat. Security checks of both flights have begun immediately. Providing information, an IndiGo spokesperson said flight 6E 1275 from Mumbai to Muscat received a bomb threat. As per protocol, the flight was diverted to a separate room, and following Standard Operating Procedures, mandatory security checks began immediately. Earlier in the morning, an Air India flight was threatened with a bomb, and an emergency landing was made at Delhi airport.
Last week there was a threat of an explosion in the Purushottam Express train.
Last week too, the Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express was delayed by more than three hours due to a bomb threat at Tundla railway station in Uttar Pradesh. After that, news emerged that suspected terrorists were traveling with explosives on the train. This alert was received from user X’s account (formerly Twitter). However, later after a thorough investigation, it turned out that this was also just a rumor.
