Only 20 temples remain out of 428 temples
The survey report of the All Pakistan Hindu Rights Movement stated that at the time of Partition, there were a total of 428 Hindu temples in Pakistan. However, over time many of them were destroyed and 408 of these temples were converted into toy stores, restaurants, government offices and schools. According to government estimates, as of 2019, there were 11 functioning temples in Pakistani Sindh, 4 in Punjab, 3 in Balochistan, and 2 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
