The Starlite Occident festival, held in Marbella, has firmly established itself as a premier international destination for music, culture, and entertainment. From June 14 to August 31, the 2024 edition brought together world-renowned artists and delivered extraordinary experiences in a stunning natural setting, attracting over 350,000 attendees and exceeding all expectations.

This year, Starlite Occident reinforced its position as a top global boutique festival, merging the magic of its natural surroundings with cutting-edge technology to create a captivating universe. The festival showcased its commitment to innovation by unveiling the largest stage in its history, which is now the biggest permanent stage in Spain and one of the top stages worldwide in a natural environment. This allowed for intimate concerts and unique performances, giving artists the opportunity to connect with their audience like never before.

A Diverse and Eclectic Lineup for All Generations

Starlite Occident 2024 featured a wide-ranging and eclectic lineup, catering to diverse musical tastes and generations. Latin music stars like Manuel Turizo, Carlos Vives, Emilia, and Sebastián Yatra took the stage, alongside global icons such as Jamie Cullum, Tom Jones, and Nick Carter (Backstreet Boys). Spanish music was well-represented by artists like Hombres G, Malú, Aitana, Abraham Mateo, and La Oreja de Van Gogh.

The Largest Open-Air Nightclub

After the concerts in the Auditorium, the festival transformed its Sessions space into the largest open-air nightclub. This daring section of the festival offered unforgettable summer nights in Marbella, combining nature, innovation, and cutting-edge music. International DJs such as Robin Schulz and Claptone with his Masquerade party brought the electronic music scene to life. The festival also featured performances by Latin electro king Juan Magán, DJ Nano with his legendary Oro Viejo party, Alvama ICE, and top resident DJs.

A Culinary Experience

Starlite Occident also delighted attendees with a culinary journey. Five in-house restaurants, offering two reservation slots per night, were fully booked throughout the festival. Guests enjoyed a variety of dining options, from Temazo’s grilled specialties to Tanabata’s Nikkei fusion, Ánima’s Mexican cuisine, Sandra’s Caviar Bar gourmet selections, and the newly introduced Italian trattoria Raffaella, which added a charming Mediterranean flair to the event.

Exclusivity, Growth, and Magic

Starlite Occident is more than just a festival; it’s a catalyst for tourism development and a driver of economic growth in Marbella, the Costa del Sol, Andalucía, and across Spain. With over 350,000 attendees from 96 different nationalities, the festival brings significant economic benefits to local sectors like transportation, accommodation, dining, and retail. This translates into a substantial boost to the local economy, fostering growth and enhancing the region’s appeal.

The festival continues to grow exponentially, contributing positively to Spain’s GDP and employment through its powerful economic multiplier effect. Starlite Occident has once again filled Marbella’s summer nights with magic and wonder, blending live music, culture, and gastronomy in a unique space that has become one of Spain’s best showcases to the world.
