(CNN) — Eminem will take on a new role in his life: he will become a grandfather.
rapper Advertisement That their 28-year-old daughter Hailey Jade is expecting her first child. They made the announcement this Thursday via a new music video for their song “Temporary” starring Skylar Grey.
At one point in the video, Jade, a music artist and podcaster, gives her father a blue T-shirt with “Grandpa” written on the back.
A stunned Eminem holds up a photo of the sonogram while Jade smiles and laughs at her father’s reaction to the news.
The music video features a collection of home videos from Jade and Eminem’s childhood, including footage from her recent marriage to husband Evan McClintock.
Eminem dedicated this song to Jade and rap lyrics that relate to the cycle of life: “So Hailey Jade, I wrote this song to help you live life when I’m gone.”
Jade and McClintock have been together since 2016. he announced They got engaged in February 2023 and married in May.
