Amidst the box office clashes between Alia Bhatt-Vedang Raina’s ‘Jigra’ and Rajkummar Rao-Tripti Dimri’s ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’, the clash between filmmakers Karan Johar and Divya Khosla has come into limelight. On the day of the release of “Jigra”, Divya Khosla shared a post, after which Karan Johar also responded. After Karan’s post, an argument broke out between him and Divya. It all started when Divya called the Jigra collection fake. Later, Jigra producer Karan Johar took to his Instagram account to criticize such posts. However, the strange aspect of this social media fight is that neither side has taken the other’s name. However, he constantly shares cryptic posts on Instagram.
Whose side are Internet users on?
It was already clear from the ongoing conflict on social media that Twitter and Instagram users would also definitely join this fight and choose one side or the other. However, social media also seemed divided on the issue. While some users sided with Karan Johar and reminded Divya that Jigra is not a copy of Savi, some users sided with Divya and trolled Karan and Alia.
Some supported Divya and some supported Karan.
Taking sides with Divya Khosla, a user wrote, “It’s karma time for Karan Johar and his nephew Alia. Congratulations to Divya.” Another sided with Divya and said, “Divya exposed Jigra’s fake collection. Will Alia and Karan’s game also be revealed now? How deep is the truth and who else will be involved? Another said, “Divya should watch Jigra first and then say something. Her film Saavi is nothing like Jigra.” A user supported Karan Johar with a photo where one person is shouting and the other is calm. Additionally, both people’s posts were also linked to this photo.

Divya and Karan’s war of words
Divya recently took to her Instagram handle to post a photo of an empty theater and said that Alia’s film is not attracting audiences. He also called the film collection a forgery. Alia didn’t react to it, but Karan Johar couldn’t live without an answer. Without naming Divya, he posted a story on his official Instagram account in which he wrote, “Silence is the best answer for fools.” Soon after Karana’s post, Divya shared the post without mentioning anyone and wrote, “Truth provokes fools.” In another he wrote: “When other people’s goods are shamelessly stolen and confiscated, you should remain silent and run away. People like that have no voice or backbone.”
Why is Divya unhappy with the makers of Jigra?
In fact, Divya’s film ‘Savi’, which also starred her with Harshvardhan Rane and Anil Kapoor, was released in May this year. The plot of the movie revolves around a prison break in which a wife can go to any lengths to free her husband from prison. The theme of the recently released ‘Jigra’ is also based on the concept of jailbreak. However, the stories of both films are completely different. Ever since the trailer of the film was released, Divya’s team has been accusing the makers of the Alia Bhatt film of rewriting Savi’s script and portraying her as Jigra.
