A surprising news has emerged about Malayalam actor Bali, which has once again created confusion among people. Following a complaint lodged by his ex-wife and singer Amrita Suresh, Kadavanthara police in Ernakulam, Kerala, arrested him under section without bail. Moreover, the actor’s 12-year-old daughter also accused him.
Why was actor Bala arrested?
Malayalam actor Bala has been arrested for mentally and physically torturing a woman. In addition, additional charges were also brought under juvenile justice law. The actor was immediately arrested on Monday, October 14, following a complaint lodged by ex-wife Amrita Suresh and 12-year-old daughter. In his complaint, he alleged that Bala insulted him through social media posts. He also claimed that Bali’s new film harmed his 12-year-old daughter.
Actor Bala got into legal troubles
Amrita Suresh further stated in her complaint that the actor was giving paid online interviews about her and her daughter. According to ANI, Bali was charged under Art. 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act. A case was registered on October 12 and apart from Bali, his manager Rajesh was also arrested. The arrest took place at actor Bali’s house in Kochi. Actor Bala and his manager have been arrested under a non-bail order. Earlier, Bala had alleged that his ex-wife Amrita was not allowing him to meet their daughter Avantika. After the accusations, his daughter shared a video on Instagram in which she talked about the problems she and her mother were struggling with because of her father. Since then, the actor has been in the news.
