On Friday, September 20, 2024, Castelfranco Emilia will host a unique event, the “Night of Sports,” transforming the city into an open-air sports field.
This celebration, organized by the Amateur Sports Association Kinesfera in collaboration with the Municipality of Castelfranco Emilia, marks the inauguration of the Community Civic Space.
Event Highlights
The “Night of Sports” will take place in Piazza della Vittoria and Corso Martiri, starting at 8:30 PM.
The event will feature various sports disciplines, offering a spectacular open-air show. This initiative is part of the Play District Kine4Play “workshops in motion” project, promoted by the Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Service of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, in collaboration with Sport and Health.
Community Civic Space
The Community Civic Space project aims to engage young people aged 14 to 34 in social participation.
From September 2024 to June 2026, the project will offer numerous free sports activities and extra-sport initiatives, including seminars, workshops, and shows, involving over 10,000 participants.
The project headquarters will be located at Via Ligabue 15 in Castelfranco Emilia, providing a space for young people to enhance their resources, answer their questions, and support their personal growth.
Sports and Activities
The project will develop seven main sports areas over the next two years, including martial arts, self-defense, basketball, pilates, athletics, skating, soccer, walking, and more.
Additionally, there will be categories focused on experiential work, dance theater, shiatsu, yoga, meditation, naturopathy, theater, music therapy, free dance, live music, fashion workshops, graffiti, classical dance, improvisation, music workshops, park cleaning, creative recycling workshops, and a legality bike ride.
