Pedro García Aguado is considered a progressive. He is not afraid to share his past to explain all his experiences and bad habits. The former Olympic water polo player helps young people and families break free from disordered behavior when they can.
The last time he appeared in public was on the podcast “I Have a Plan” talking about the importance of habits in the detoxification process. The winner of the last edition of ‘Survivors’ said that if you give up the habits you have acquired during this period, that is where you can come back.
The ‘Big Brother’ presenter explained the importance of “adopt new habits and stick to them“. Aguado admitted that he continues to do the things he did during treatment, such as walking every morning. In addition, he admitted that he has various hobbies related to “keeping things organized.”
“Habit is the hard work of doing things impulsively” is the key to habits. “When you drink, you tend to act on extremes and you don’t stop to think about the harm you can do to another person.“He explained to the former water polo player. The role of the family is important to overcome these conflicts. Aguado revealed that his parents have been proud of the fact that he overcame bad habits more than the success he gets as an athlete.
Finally, he wanted to explain his thoughts on success: “For me it has to do with management skills.” And, about happiness: “They have sold us as happiness.” Happiness is about staying happy over time. It has to do with oxytocin and serotonin.”
