A video from Dharampur village in Kanpur Dehta has gone viral. Villagers beat up a wrestler. It is reported that a one-day commotion was organized in the village on the occasion of Dussehra. Ajit Singh Chauhan, the aggrieved wrestler, said that after winning Dangal, when it was his turn to collect the prize, some villagers beat him up. Police have registered a case against 8 and 10-12 unknown persons and have arrested three accused so far.
Incidentally, Ajit Singh Chauhan, a resident of Jasapur, came to wrestle in Dangal. He defeated a wrestler from Kanpur and won the Dangal. As Ajith came on stage to receive the prize, another wrestler also started announcing his victory. Meanwhile, the organizers and the villagers started beating Ajith.

Based on Ajith’s complaint and the viral video, the police registered a case against 8 and 10-12 unidentified persons. The police have so far arrested Pawan Gupta, Antu Gupta and Raghava Gupta and engaged in further action.
