Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday that Israel had settled its score after Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah was killed in Israeli airstrikes in Beirut, Lebanon.
In its first public statement since Israel killed Nasrallah, Israel will recognize the “mass murderer” responsible for the murders of countless Israelis and scores of American and French citizens, The Times of Israel reported.
After returning from a visit to the United Nations in New York, Netanyahu said the killing of Hassan Nasrallah was a “historical turning point”. He said Nasrallah’s death was a necessary condition for achieving Israel’s goals.
According to a BBC News report, Israeli Prime Minister Hassan Nasrallah ordered the strikes to target him because Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacks against Hezbollah in recent days have not been enough. Netanyahu further said that Nasrallah is the central engine of Iran’s axis of evil. He said Israel has decided to continue attacking its enemies.

‘Israel killed fanatic killer’
If someone rises to kill you, kill him first, Netanyahu said in his speech. Israel kills hard core assassin Hassan Nasrallah. Nasrallah is not just a terrorist. He and his people planned to destroy Israel. Not only was he driven by Iran, he often led Iran. So earlier in the week, I came to the conclusion that the IDF’s powerful strikes against Hezbollah in recent days were not enough.
‘The work is not done yet’
Israel’s prime minister said that removing Nasrallah would allow our residents to return to their homes. It would also ease the way for us to recover our captives in the south. “I thank the IDF, Air Force, IDF Intelligence, Mossad and ISA for the great achievements,” he said. We have achieved great things, but the work is not yet done. In the coming days we will face significant challenges together.
‘Nasrallah told us the spider web’
Netanyahu said that Nasrallah described us as a ‘spider web’ but instead found the iron nerves of a united and powerful nation, determined to ensure its survival and its future. Not only Hezbollah, but the entire Middle East understands this.
There is no place in the Middle East that Israel cannot reach
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin said that all those who oppose the axis of evil, all those who struggle under the violent dictatorship of Iran and all its proxies in Lebanon, Syria, Iran and elsewhere, are full of hope today. I tell the citizens of those countries that Israel stands by you. And I say to the Ayatollah regime, we will attack those who attack us. There is no place in Iran or the Middle East beyond the reach of Israel’s long arm.

‘The enemies thought that Israel would be destroyed’
Netanyahu said, “These are important days and we are in a situation where we consider them a historic turning point.” A year ago, on October 7th, our enemies attacked us and thought Israel was about to be destroyed. A year later, we have delivered one shock after another and one achievement after another. We are winning. We decided to continue the attack on our enemies, send our inhabitants back to their homes and bring back all our captives. We will never forget them for a moment. My brothers and sisters, dear citizens of Israel, today I firmly say to you, once again we will fight together. And with God’s help we will win together.
