BJP leader and newly elected Haryana MLA Krishna Lal Panwar resigned from the Rajya Sabha on Monday. Krishna Lal met Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar and handed over his resignation from the Rajya Sabha to him. Krishna Lal said that he is starting a new chapter in Haryana after being elected as MLA from Israna. Let us tell you that his name is also under consideration among the ministerial candidates of Haryana. He is also the vice president of BJP Haryana.

In this regard, the Vice President told ‘X’, “Vice President and Chairman Rajya Sabha Jagdeep Dhankhar has accepted the resignation of Krishna Lal Panwar, Rajya Sabha member from Haryana, with immediate effect and considers it in accordance with the provisions of the constitution.” With the resignation of Krishna Lal Panwar, one seat from Haryana will fall vacant in the Rajya Sabha.

At the same time, Krishna Lal shared a picture of his meeting with the Chairman at ‘X’. He wrote in his post, “In New Delhi, I tendered my resignation from Rajya Sabha membership to the Honorable Chairman, Mr. Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji and resumed my new assignment in public service as MLA Israna.” Everyone should give his blessings to start this new chapter.” He further said, ”Under the able leadership and guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and Hon’ble Chief Minister of the state Nayab Singh Saini ji, making Israna a better and more developed areas.

Defeated Congress candidate by 3,895 votes

Of the 90 assembly seats in Haryana, the BJP has won 48 seats. At the same time, the three independent candidates who won also supported the BJP. Krishna Lal Panwar has defeated Balbir Singh Balmiki of Congress from Israna assembly seat. Krishna Lal Panwar had defeated the Congress candidate by a margin of 13,895 votes. Recently, when Krishna Lal Panwar was asked about his chances of becoming a minister, he said, “If I get cabinet responsibility, I will fulfill it well.”
