However, Ishan Kishan, who played a brilliant century in the Duleep Trophy, has also not been selected in Team India for this series. However, he will be seen playing with the Rest of India team in the Iran Cup starting October 1.

Ishan Kishan has been out of Team India for the past one year, where BCCI had earlier dropped him from a central contract and despite his excellent performance in domestic cricket, he has not been able to return to the team till now. Everyone was hoping that after his outstanding performance in the Duleep Trophy, Ishan could be selected in the team for the T20 series against Bangladesh but the selectors once again ignored him. Ishan Kishan may now have a chance to make a comeback in the four-match T20 series against South Africa to be held in November as Rishabh Pant and Dhruv Jurel get more preference in the Test squad.
Abhishek Sharma returns to the team
After his stellar performance in the T20 series against Zimbabwe, Abhishek Sharma was not included in the team for the T20 series against Sri Lanka. He has returned to the team for the T20 series against Bangladesh. Apart from this, Nitish Reddy also has a place in this team, who was selected in the squad for the T20 series against Zimbabwe, but was absent due to injury.
