Nasrallah was recently killed
The president’s statement came at a time when dozens of people were killed in Israeli air strikes on Lebanon on Sunday. But he did not say when he would speak with Netanyahu. Israel carried out several attacks against the leadership of the extremist group Hezbollah, and in one of these attacks its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, was also killed. America considers Nasrallah’s death a strong blow to Hezbollah. At the same time, the US administration tried to move cautiously, as it tried to prevent Israel’s war with Hamas, which like Hezbollah has Iranian support, so that it would not escalate into a broader war.
The Houthi rebels also attacked

It is simultaneously fighting against Hezbollah, Hamas, and now the Houthi rebels in Yemen. Israel also carried out a major air strike on Houthi rebel bases in Yemen. On Sunday evening, the Israeli military said that dozens of aircraft bombed Houthi positions in Yemen in response to recent attacks on Israel.
