Beirut/Cairo:– The Israeli army’s aggressive attack on Hezbollah continues. Now the Israeli army has entered the village of Ramia in southern Lebanon, where it is trying to seize it. A fierce land and air war is taking place in this place between the Israeli army and Hezbollah fighters. Haibatullah said that our fighters have currently thwarted an Israeli attempt to infiltrate, and a fierce battle is taking place on this front. At the same time, the Israeli army intensified its attacks in Gaza as well. During the past 24 hours, 29 people were killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza.
Three United Nations employees have also been injured in this attack so far. Israeli strikes shook the main base of peacekeepers in southern Lebanon, prompting UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Western countries to condemn the attacks. UNIFIL described the attack as “dangerous and the safety of UN personnel and property must be guaranteed.” Meanwhile, France summoned the Israeli ambassador and issued a joint statement with Italy and Spain in which it described such attacks as “unjustified.”
America asked not to attack UN employees
US President Joe Biden said that he asks Israel not to attack UNIFIL forces. Russia also expressed its strong anger over this attack and asked Israel to refrain from carrying out “hostile actions” against the peacekeepers. On Saturday, at least 29 Palestinians were killed in Israeli military attacks on Gaza. Doctors said that Israeli forces continued to penetrate deep into the Jabalia area, where thousands of people are trapped, according to international relief agencies. (Reuters)
