Starting Digital: Space and Technology at the Service of SMEs

Starting Digital is Confartigianato Chieti L’Aquila’s Digital Innovation Hub, but not just a hub oriented toward digital transformation for SMEs; rather, it is a communication agency that offers consultancy, training, digital services, event organization, and a place where freelancers and businesses can find coworking spaces.

Consecrated today, in the new headquarters alongside the headquarters of Confartigianato, in the Piazza Falcone e Borsellino of Chieti, this new creative hub officially opened with Mayor Diego Ferrara and President Camillo Saraullo of Confartigianato Chieti L’Aquila cutting the ribbon, flanked by General Director Daniele Giangiulli of the same association, by Regional Councilor for Productive Activities in Abruzzo Tiziana Magnacca and Member of Parliament Guerino Testa.

Starting Digital is one of the winners of the “Poli di Innovazione” tender as part of the Italian PNRR, Mission 4 “Education and Research” – Component 2 “From Research to Business” – Investment 2.3 for expanding and strengthening technological transfer centers for industries, and this is thanks to European Union financing from NextGenerationEU.

Support for Digitalization of SMEs

Already as a Digital Innovation Hub, Starting Digital launched its Assessment Phase: an important step for the digital needs assessment of businesses and the definition of dedicated innovation paths.

Thanks to such in-depth analysis, Starting Digital will be able to provide ad hoc support to enable companies to understand the opportunities and challenges offered by digital transformation.

In the words of Saraullo and Giangiulli, President and General Director respectively of Confartigianato Chieti L’Aquila, “Our association has long embarked on the challenge of innovation and computerization of companies.

Today, we see the realization of a project that has been in the making for a while. With Starting Digital, we want to support Abruzzo-based businesses-both large and small-helping them grasp every advantage and opportunity of the digital world.”

Co-Working Space for Professionals and Businesses

The co-working space, already open, welcomes freelancers, professionals, and enterprises that seek a vibrant work environment.

The space offers flexible access: hourly, daily, and subscription options with a fully equipped meeting room and all the essential technology tools.

Regional Innovation Support

Tiziana Magnacca, Abruzzo’s Regional Councilor for Productive Activities expressed her congratulations: “Congratulations to Confartigianato Chieti L’Aquila, which seized this important opportunity offered by the PNRR, which guides us toward digital transition.
