Lariano’s Porcini Mushroom Festival: Double Show Tonight with Peppe Iodice

Don’t miss the chance to be part of the 32nd edition of the Porcini Mushroom Festival in Lariano, a celebration of the “King of the Forest,” offering entertainment, culture, and excellent cuisine for everyone.

Despite challenging weather conditions, this year’s event, organized by the Lariano Porcini Mushroom Association led by President Bruno Abbafati, has been a resounding success, drawing large crowds to the Castelli Romani area and the province of Rome. The festival boasts high-quality evening shows, art exhibitions, mycology courses, and roundtables in the pavilion of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Among the festival’s standout performances was Al Bano Carrisi’s opening concert, followed by a series of exciting shows, including a performance by Cristina D’Avena, and a tribute to Rino Gaetano by the official cover band Ciao Rino. More recently, Mirko Casadei delivered a highly praised performance.

Tonight, September 17th, at 9:30 PM, comedian Peppe Iodice will finally take the stage after being postponed due to bad weather. His show will be followed by a performance from the comic duo Arteteca, promising an evening full of laughter and entertainment. The event is free, including admission and parking, making it accessible to all.

In addition to top-notch performances, the festival provides a unique gastronomic experience. Food stalls offer a variety of dishes featuring the star of the event, the porcini mushroom, from traditional cellitti and fettuccine to polenta and risotto.

The festivities continue until September 22nd, with a lineup of notable national artists. Upcoming shows include Ivana Spagna and Righeira on September 18th, Biagio Izzo on September 19th, and Jerry Calà on September 20th. On September 21st, a tribute to Adriano Celentano by Re degli Ignoranti will set the stage for the grand finale on September 22nd, featuring the legendary band Nomadi.

The extensive event program, curated by Marco Abbafati, has been made possible with the support of sponsors such as Dierre Spa, Impresit Lavori, Studio Galdi, Atlante Spa, Consorzio Ceim, and others.

Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this fantastic celebration of nature’s bounty, offering top-tier entertainment, cultural enrichment, and delicious food for all.
